Privacy Policy

This page explains what happens to your information when you use MultiKit. The short version: the tools run in your browser, and what you enter into them is not sent to us.

What you enter into the tools

The text, files, tokens, queries and colors you enter are processed on your device by code that runs in your browser. They are not sent to a server, not stored by us and not shared. Closing or reloading the page clears them.

Some tools, such as the regex tester, use a background worker inside your browser. This is still your device; nothing is sent over the network.

Information the site receives

MultiKit is delivered by a hosting provider (Cloudflare). Like any web host, the provider may record standard server logs when you load a page, such as your IP address, the page you requested, the date and time, and your browser type. These logs are used to deliver the site, keep it secure and handle abuse. We do not combine them with anything you enter into a tool, because we never receive that. When the advertising code described below loads, Google also receives the technical information your browser sends with any request.

Cookies and analytics

MultiKit does not set cookies of its own, does not store anything about you in your browser, and does not run analytics or tracking scripts of its own. The pages follow your device’s light or dark setting without saving it. The advertising service described below is operated by Google and may set cookies of its own.

Advertising

MultiKit uses Google AdSense to support the site. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies, and data such as your IP address and the pages you visit, to show and measure ads, including ads based on your interests. This is separate from the tools: what you type, paste or open in a tool is never part of it and is never sent to Google or anyone else.

You can manage personalized ads in Google Ad Settings, read how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and opt out of many third-party advertising cookies at aboutads.info. In regions where the law requires it, a consent choice is shown before cookies are used for advertising.

Pages link to documentation and standards on other sites. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

Children

MultiKit is a general-purpose tool site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Messages you send us

If you email us, we receive your email address and what you write. We use it to reply and to fix problems, and we do not share it. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the bottom of the page changes too. For questions, contact us.
